Latest versions of Pdf+ are designed for Series 60 and UIQ Smartphones.
mBrain Software announced that it has
released two new versions of its Pdf+ software for Smartphones.
The company's Pdf+ is a viewer for PDF
files that enables users to view them on the smaller screens of smartphones. The
latest versions are aimed at users of Series 60 SmartPhones, including the Nokia
7650 and the Nokia 3650, and users of UIQ Smartphones, such as the SonyEricsson
P800, P802 and P900. The software was previously available only for Nokia 9200
Series Communicators and Psion PDAs, the company said.
With the software downloaded to a
smartphone users can:
* Display all the PDF files stored on
the device.
* Display the text, line drawings and
images in a PDF file.
* View and follow bookmarks.
* Search for and follow
links.
* Reflow the text in a document using
Document Content Reflow (DCR) Technology so that it better fits the
screen.
* Zoom in and out to maximize the
amount of text and graphics you can read on the screen.
* Use the entire screen for displaying
a page, and rotate the screen.
* Search for strings in the text of the
document.
* Send a PDF file using e-mail,
infrared or Bluetooth.
* Display PDF files that are attached
to e-mails.
