It's easy to find and publish PDF files online, but every now and then you might not want to make an entire document available for download. Or, perhaps offering the PDF content in a different format is more appropriate for your users.

PDF to HTML Converter by IntraPDF enables you to convert from—guess what?—PDF to HTML. Like most conversion utilities, this application suffers from a few formatting output errors (nothing especially egregious), and the GUI could also be improved upon. But the HTML files created do have small file sizes. What's more, the application does retain the PDF bookmarks via a page frame in the HTML.

Our main feature request for PDF to HTML Converter is that it learn how to strip out images and save them as separate image files. Those of you with HTML coding skills may find PDF to HTML Converter more useful as a way to quickly produce HTML files that you can further manipulate in a text editor or WYSIWYG application.

Other features include: translating URLs from the PDF to HTML, font extraction if fonts are embedded, and multi-lingual conversion. The trial version, per usual, only converts a portion of any given document. The full version costs $49.99, and can be purchased via IntraPDF's Web site.
