When Adobe Reader loads, several plug-ins load as well, and that's where PDF SpeedUp 1.42 shaves a few seconds off your loading time.

PDF SpeedUp disables unnecessary plug-ins as Adobe Acrobat Reader loads and gives the user controls to enable or disable the plug-ins as necessary.

PDF SpeedUp turns off all the Update Features and disables the startup splash screen. The tool also turns off those advertisements for Adobe offerings in the upper-right hand corner of the toolbar.

The Windows-based program will remove the PrintMe and Adobe Reader icons as well as disabling browser integration, and disabling the confirmation dialog when closing Adobe Reader.
