Company also releases new tools for creating documentation, an API, and server-side content rendering engine.

Need to render separate versions of PDF files for print and Web from XML on a Java platform? RenderX has announced version 4.0 of its XEP Rendering Engine, which can output to PDF as well as PostScript Levels 2 and 3.

Along with the upgrade to its rendering engine, RenderX has introduced XEP v4 Desktop, which aids the creation of documentation like books and manuals; XEP v4 Integration & Connectivity Kit, an API for developers; and XEP v4 Server, which distributes formatted content over the network.

"Our new XEP product line provide users with out-of-the-box solutions for a full range of solutions from single-user desktop authoring environments to mass mailing systems and database reporting," says Anatol Kaganovich, RenderX's vice president of marketing.

RenderX also has introduced EnMasse, a larger scale version of RenderX that “provides our Global 1000 customer base with a fully scalable solution for distributing formatting servers and delivers the ability to minimize initial investment with the easiest path available to add formatting capacity as their business requires," Kaganovich says.
