Canadian software vendor PDFTron announced the release of PDF2Image, an export program that can take PDFs and convert them to a number of graphics file formats including SVG, BMP, GIF, JPEG, and TIFF.

The standalone command-line server utility also includes a number of controls, including output image size and quality through resolution, color model, color bit depth, and anti-aliasing. It also comes as part of PDFTron’s PDFNet SDK, for developers who want to ember the utility’s function within a custom application.
