I put Acrobat 6 on a new Windows XP machine and lost access to many of my fonts. What did I do wrong?

I recently installed Acrobat 6 Pro on a brand new XP machine. Now, it appears that I don't have access to as many fonts as I had in Version 5.0. I checked my systems fonts and the list is extensive, but even such basic choices as Arial are not available in 6.0.Since Arial is our default font, this could be a problem. What did I do wrong? --Doug Horn

If you don't already have licensed fonts, you may want to purchase them. Arial is a bad choice to begin with. I would suggest using a form of Helvetica. Good stable font that works well with most programs/systems. – Tracy Wright

You should also check that Distiller's job options are set to specifically embed Arial. – Simon
