Headers and footers are dynamically added to the created PDF in order to provide a customized template.

This example utilizes activePDF WebGrabber, activePDF Server and optionally, activePDF Toolkit, in order to provide dynamic PDF Letter creation to anyone with Internet Explorer 5.5 or above. A rich text editor is shown within the client’s browser in order to create and format a letter. Headers and footers are dynamically added to the created PDF in order to provide a customized template. Once the letter is written, the user has the option to email, view or download the generated PDF.

This example demonstrates:
- Implementing WebGrabber as a centralized PDF creation piece.
- Converting HTML to PDF.
- Leveraging the ability to "push" a PDF to the client in order to save a PDF locally without requiring the full version of Adobe® Acrobat®.
- Emailing a PDF.
- How to submit and check the status of a document conversion locally.
- Redirecting a PDF to a client browser.
