Where can I download the Distiller PPD for my Macs? I have 2 G4s (OS 9.1 & 9.2), 3 iMacs (OS 9.2) and an eMac (OS10.2.8). I would also like to know which printer I should point at when creating a .ps file. Can I point at any printer? -- Selvan Ponnusamy

You can get the Distiller PPD here. And you should use Adobe PDF or a generic PostScript printer. ?JR Boulay

You can go to Adobe's Web site and download everything you need. When there, go to >support > dowloads, and scroll through the selections for the appropriate drivers and ppd's. I suggest using the Adobe ps driver for OS9 and the Distiller ppd, (although the distiller ppd should have been installed with the full version of Acrobat, and the Adobe driver should also be installed on your OS9 machines). In OS9 you could create a desktop (virtual printer- print to file) and choose that as your device. Depending on which app you are using in OSX, you should be able to use the Adobe PDF printer. Another option would be to create a new printer called "localhost". In OSX 10.2.8, the ppd are located at >library >printers >ppds >contents >resources > en.lproj (for english language). In OS9, ppds are located at >system folder > extensions > printer descriptions folder. --Jason Paul
