SmileOnMyMac Refreshes Editing and Form-Filling Utility

SmileOnMyMac has released PDFpenPro 2.3, its PDF-editing and form-filling tool with improved features for handling complex forms, improved interactivity for document display. The company also fixed a known problem associated with disappearing imprints in documents.

PDFPenPro 2.3 requires Mac OS X 10.2.5 or later and is offered on a 30 day free demo trial. The latest update is free for registered users of PDFpenPro and users of PDFpen may upgrade to PDFpenPro for $45.

Aspose Releases Aspose.PDF 2.6

Aspose Pty. Ltd. has released the updated Aspose.PDF 2.6, .Net PDF document reporting component that enables users of either .Net or Java applications to create PDF documents without requiring Adobe Acrobat.

Aspose.PDF 2.6 enables PDF file creation through both an API and from XML templates and XSL-FO files. The solution also gives users compression capabilities, hyperlinks, security features and custom font creation within PDFs.

The latest version is priced at $399 and users can download the solution at the company Web site here .

Softland Refreshes NovaPDF

Romania-based Softland SRL has released its updated PDF creation tool NovaPDF Lite 2.1, which adds shared network printing features, speedier PDF optimizing and an updated help file.

In addition the release offers margin definitions and an extended zoom factor. The company also corrected scale handling issues in detection of file links.

NovaPDF Lite 2.1 enables users to create PDF files from various documents including e-mails, MS Office documents, Web pages and text files.
