SintraWorks releases a PDF utility allowing users to create books and magazines, Softland updates NovaPDF to provide UI support for several languages, and Qoppa Software updates its jPDFViewer with a thumbnail page view.

  • SintraWorks Releases PDFClerk 1.0

    SintraWorks has released PDFClerk 1.0 for Mac OS X users.

    The PDF utility lets users merge multiple PDF documents, merge and delete individual pages, and rotate PDF pages.

    Users can use the PDF document editor to create books and magazines.

    The program does not require Adobe Acrobat.

    A single user license costs $20. The software is available for purchase here.

  • Softland Releases NovaPDF Std. 3.1 Build 167

    Softland has updated its PDF creation software, adding GUI localization support for Asian languages and user interface support for the Japanese, Dutch, Polish and Russian languages.

    In addition, Version 3.1 addresses minor bug fixes in the printer driver and SDK (software development kit), according to the Web site.

    The Windows-based utility does not require Adobe Acrobat or Reader.

    NovaPDF Std. 3.1 is priced at $29.95 and is available for download on the company's Web site.

  • Qoppa Software Updates jPDFViewer

    Qoppa Software has released jPDFViewer 3.21, adding a thumbnail page viewing feature for users.

    jPDFViewer 3.21 allows users to read and display PDF files on any Java-based platform.

    The program offers compatibility with PDF 1.6 file format, including layers, and supports TrueType, Type 0, Type 1, Type 1C and Type 3 fonts.

    The software is priced at $1000 and is available for purchase from the company's Web site.
