Acro Software has released its PDF form-filling solution CutePDF Form Filler 3.1 which adds support for digital signatures.

CutePDF Form Filler saves entered data in a PDF form for users to fill in offline, and enables the PDF form to be sent in full or just the form data as an email attachment.

Users can import and export data from existing FDF, XFDF, and XML files. In addition, the program offers 40-bit or 128-bit encryption.

The Windows-based program does not require the full version of Adobe Acrobat and is compatible with Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher or other PDF viewers.

Pricing for a single license runs $29.95 and the solution can be purchased at the company Web site here.

veryPDF Updates PDF Extract TIFF

veryPDF has released PDF Extract TIFF 1.6, its updated extraction application for extracting pictures from PDF files and saving them to TIFF files.

PDF Extract TIFF 1.6 supports the PDF1.6 protocol, and does not need Adobe Acrobat to run. The utility program can extract color images as JPG files and can auto detect and invert color for black and white pictures.

Pricing for a single user license is $59.00 and the updated solution can be purchased at the company Web site here.

PEERNET Releases ePublisherPlus 2.0

Canada-based PEERNET Inc. has released its Window-based conversion solution ePublisherPlus 2.0, with new enhancements to the PDF export dialog for configuring the viewing of PDF documents in Acrobat Reader.

ePublisherPlus converts any file from any program to a searchable PDF, TIFF, JPEG, Windows BMP or EMF format, according to the company. The conversion application supports annotations, bookmarks and hyperlinks, and also provides full WYSIWYG preview and editing of PDF Bookmark information.

The company offers a trial version of the program online and a licensed version can be purchased for $29.95 at the company Web site here.
