Banner year for the PDF progenitor gets even better, as executives announce that they’ll make even more this year than originally thought.

Adobe announced that it believes its revenue targets of $400 million to $415 million for the current quarter seemed a little low at quarter’s midpoint, so it upped its taget to the $410 milllion to $425 range in its mid-quarter meeting with financial analysts last week. Adobe brass also said its revenue target for fiscal 2005 would be in the $1.85 and $1.9 billion range.

“Fiscal 2004 continues to be a phenomenal year for Adobe," said Bruce Chizen, Adobe president and CEO. "We're executing extremely well against our platform strategy and remain on track for revenue growth of more than 25 percent year-over-year. We anticipate fiscal 2005 to be our third consecutive year of double-digit growth. Beyond 2005, we are well-positioned to leverage the strong market opportunities and positive trends we are seeing today."
