To make it easier for independent software vendors and IT managers to use IBM Workplace network-management tools to deploy software--such as Acrobat--throughout the enterprise, IBM has launched its Workplace Resource Center Web site. Adobe is one of about 100 IBM partner companies who lent a hand in building and maintaining the materials there.

"Since we announced Workplace client technology last summer and our 17 design partners, we have been developing a lot of code downloads, white papers, and testing tools for use within their platforms,” Mike Loria, director of channels and product marketing for IBM's Lotus software group said in a ComputerWeekly.com article. “So we are taking all these resources and for the first time making them all available in one location to simplify ISV's time, expense and efforts."
