If you're considering a wireless marketing campaign, take action to avoid potential pitfalls.

When considering a wireless marketing campaign, the following pointers can help you avoid some pitfalls along the way.

1) Talk to your Web server, software vendor, e-commerce integrator or hosting company--someone who helps deliver your current content--and ask for help in developing a road map for wireless marketing and Web use.

2) Start evaluating formats and platforms, and decide which ones are viable to deliver your message.

3) Get up-to-date on what leading companies are doing to enable their platforms to carry your content.
