While Enfocus will remain an independent business unit within parent company Artwork Systems, Artwork announced that the two companies will move into the same building, likely at the end of 2005.

CEO David van Dreissche, who took over the company after founder Peter Camps stepped down in 2003, has elected to resign his post after just seven months.

Calling the move a way to “centralize resources,” Artwork states further that its research and development team will work more closely with Enfocus’s, and together they will collaborate on future product releases.

"Enfocus Software has been able to report a significant increase in growth in both revenues and operating income during the last years," says incoming Executive Vice President of World-Wide Sales & Marketing Patrick Van Dam.
