QuadriSpace Corp. on Thursday said it intends to unveil its PDF add-on module for use with its Document3D line of products targeted at CAD users during the PTC/User World Event 2005, being held in Orlando, Fla., June 5-8.

With the add-on, users can publish to PDF and still maintain the integrity of interactive 3-D elements, according to the company.

Altimate Systems Inc. on Wednesday announced that it has added image-processing and data-capture capabilities to its OpenEDMS (Open Electronic Document Management System) product line through its newly formed alliance with China-based Uniwex High Technology Ltd.

Company executives said that Uniwex's OCR, ICR, OMR and bar-code recognition technologies have been integrated in the OpenEDMS system.

Redmap Networks on Thursday highlighted its launch of CaptureLink, which was developed by its strategic business partner Resolutions, a provider of document-management solutions.

CaptureLink enables users to extract and index data directly from an ERP system. The data can then be archived with Redmap's Intelligent Archive solutions, according to the company.
