Xitron's RIP management software XiFlow 2.5 will ship with Enfocus Software's PDF library technology.Enfocus Software, a PDF management solutions provider, has partnered with Xitron Inc., a raster-image processor and RIP management software provider.
The partnership will provide XiFlow 2.5 users with PDF capabilities. XiFlow 2.5 will now ship with PDF library technology from Enfocus, based in San Mateo, Calif.
Bill Owens, director of marketing for Xitron, said the Ann Arbor, Mich., company will further the partnership initiatives with future product releases.
"The partnership between Xitron and Enfocus assures our customer that products they purchase from Xitron will incorporate the latest industry standard PDF technology from Enfocus."

Owens also said that with the release of Enfocus' Instant PDF, a plug-in for Adobe Acrobat, that Xitron saw the stand-alone product as an excellent companion to the PDF capabilities in its Navigator RIP Manager.
"Xitron's customers are primarily small to midsized printers, and Instant PDF provides a cost-effective solution that printers may offer to their customers to help assure that the PDFs being supplied by the customer meet the technical requirements of the printer."
Every user who purchases Xitron's RIP Manager with PDF option through the end of 2005 will receive a complimentary copy of Instant PDF. Owens also said Xitron has added Instant PDF to the product catalog for distribution through its existing sales channels.
