Company's Web-based closing document preparation solution incorporates online ordering and delivery capabilities with expert review.

Calif.-based Ellie Mae Inc., a provider of desktop and Web-enabled mortgage-industry productivity solutions and software, announced the release of Docs Plus on the Web, a fully Web-based closing document preparation solution that incorporates online ordering and delivery capabilities with expert review.

Key features include individual file review for increased accuracy, the ability to import data directly from the mortgage originator's loan origination software, eliminating the need to re-key information, and the submission of document requests via the Web, 24/7. Additionally, Docs Plus on the Web provides free 'redraws' within 30 days, an extensive forms library and free customization of forms.

A unique feature of Docs Plus on the Web ensures that once documents are submitted, all input fields are verified by an experienced Ellie Mae document specialist who provides full document review for accuracy--usually within one hour after receipt.

Integrated into Ellie Mae's ePASS Business Center, Docs Plus on the Web can be accessed by users from any computer with Internet connectivity. All information is transmitted in a fully secure environment, in compliance with consumer privacy legislation.

"Docs Plus is different from other document delivery systems, not only because of the integration it offers with LOS systems and ePASS, but also the added value of personalized review," says Robin Nebel, president of Ellie Mae Inc. "It combines state-of-the-art Web technology with the 'peace of mind' that an experienced specialist has reviewed the docs for accuracy."
