Two Pilots Releases CHM2PDF Pilot 2.0
Two Pilots has released CHM2PDF Pilot 2.0, its utility program for converting CHM documents into PDF files.
The software program can be run from the command line and offers PDF security features including password protection at 40-bit and 128-bit encryption.
In addition, the program gives users fonts embedding capability, several compression modes and batch processing for multiple document conversion.

CAD-KAS Offers PDF Split and Merge 1.0
CAD-KAS Gbr has announced PDF Split and Merge 1.0.
PDF Split and Merge 1.0 lets users extract single pages or a series of pages from existing PDF files. Users can also save pages to separate PDF files or combine multiple PDF files into one file.
In addition, users can edit PDF meta information, including author, title, copyright information and PDF file.
The program is priced at $29.95 and is available for download on the company's Web site.
Universe Software Updates fdf-Converter
Universe Software GmbH has released fdf-Converter 4.0, adding a new preview function for users to easily view layout of tables and data. The different layouts can also be merged together in one step, and with the new version users can multiselect data fields.
fdf-Converter 4.0 is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux systems, and gives users the ability to transfer and convert PDF form field data, which can then be read by MS-Access, MS-Excel and other database programs.
