CTdeveloping releases PDFtypewriter 5.1

CTdeveloping has released PDFtypewriter 5.1, which gives users a new Form Tool for modifying all the form fields in a PDF document, as well as the ability to map database data for output into a PDF file, according to the company.

In addition, the latest release includes some minor bug fixes and compatibility upgrades. Version 5.1 is a free upgrade for existing users.

A single user license is priced at $49 and can be purchased at the Web site here.

Universe Software GmbH announces pdf-DocPro 4.0

Universe Software GmbH announced the release of pdf-DocPro 4.0, which enables users to compress PDFs up to 90 percent.

The software also lets users set security permissions, encryption levels and printing options for PDF documents.

In addition, pdf-DocPro 4.0 supports downward compatibility in PDF files for Adobe Acrobat versions 5,6,7 and Adobe FormDesigner 7 forms for preserving structures and form fields in previous versions.

The solution is compatible with Windows and Mac OS operating systems and is priced at $50.75 per license.

Recoveronix introduces PDFRecovery 1.0

Recoveronix has released PDFRecovery 1.0, its PDF repair solution for use with Windows compatible operating systems.

PDFRecovery supports Adobe PDF 1.5 specs and gives users the ability to recover and restore original PDF formatting in fonts, outlines and colors.

In addition, the software also restores interactive objects and recovers page trees, images and cross reference tables.

The PDF repair software does not recover forms and cannot restore original encryption settings.

Pricing runs $149 and users can download a demo version here.
