With the conversion solution users can convert and extract the text, layout and images of a PDF file to a Word file. Users can then open the converted PDF file and edit the file contents in Word.

IT4ce Software has released OutlookPDFplus 1.8, adding Excel and PowerPoint single-click functionality as well as making enhancements to improve support of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.

OutlookPDFplus allows users to send PDFs using MS Outlook, and to save and send PDF files in MS Word. The attached PDFs can be encrypted and password-protected. Users can also convert an entire document to PDF or select specific pages for conversion.

Torro-Softworks GmbH has released its updated Plot2PDF 1.4 conversion solution, which enables users to convert technical drawings to Adobe PDF files.

Plot2PDF 1.4 allows users to load Plot files into Plot2PDF and export them as viewable PDFs. Files can be converted in batches. Plot2PDF reads HP-GL, DWG, DXF, CGM, Calcomp907, and TIFF files.

The solution is priced at $180 and can be purchased on the company's Web site.
