VeryPDF releases Encrypt PDF 2.3 … Aloaha announces PDF Signator … AdultPDF.com updates PDF-to-TIFF converter.

VeryPDF adds Acrobat 7.0 support to its PDF encryption tool, Aloaha boosts digital signing power and AdultPDF.com adds conversion power for TIFF users.

  • VeryPDF Releases Encrypt PDF 2.3

    VeryPDF.com has released Encrypt PDF 2.3 with newly added support for Acrobat 7.0 PDF files (PDF 1.6 format).

    Encrypt PDF lets users encrypt PDFs, set permissions and add both user and owner passwords for file protection.

    Users can set password protection for PDF files with 40- or 128-bit encryption as well as prevent changes to text, graphics, form fields and annotations.

    The Windows-based utility does not require Adobe Acrobat software and is priced at $38.

    The software is available for download on the company's Web site.

  • Aloaha Announces PDF Signator

    Aloaha's new Windows-based Aloaha PDF Signator, a digital signature utility, allows users to digitally sign any existing PDF document, including electronic invoices or contracts. The software supports software certificates and SmartCards/e-ID Cards.

    Users can open, view and navigate PDF documents directly within PDF Signator. Aloha PDF Signator does not require the full version of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Document Server for Reader extensions.

    The license costs $49 and the software is available for download on the company's Web site.

  • AdultPDF.com Updates PDF-to-TIFF Converter

    AdultPDF.com has released AP PDF to TIFF 2.1, an updated version of its Windows-based conversion tool.

    Users can convert PDFs to TIFF format while maintaining the original text, pictures, graphics and document formatting.

    In addition, the conversion tool supports encrypted PDF files and conversion of vector graphics into TIFF files. The utility does not require Adobe Acrobat or Reader.

    The license is priced at $29.90 and the software is available for download on the company's Web site.
