On Wednesday, Nashville, Tenn.-based LineType Software Inc. released the Banjo Digital Signature plug-in for Adobe Acrobat users.

The plug-in can be used for digitally signing any PDF forms, and was designed specifically to comply with licensing board standards for signing and sealing construction and architectural drawings and specifications.

The Banjo Digital Signature plug-in is compatible with Windows 98, ME 2000 and XP and Adobe Acrobat 5.0 or higher.

Users can get the plug-in using a free trial mode download on the company's product site.

Brava Enterprise 5.2 Released with Support for Rich Content PDFs

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Informative Graphics Corp. recently announced the release of Brava Enterprise 5.2 content visualization server, with support for PDF markup and commenting, and enhanced Visual Rights security control.

The company said the latest release gives users the ability to view and annotate files in Brava and save them as rich content PDFs into a file system or vault. The content management application also offers dialog boxes and programmable exporting functions.

On Friday, Napoli, Italy-based NicePDF Software Inc. released Nice PDF Creator 3.0, which allows users to create PDF documents within popular programs such as MS Word, PowerPoint and all versions of Microsoft Windows, according to the company.

For expediting printing process capabilities the software does not require users to print to a specific printer, rather it installs shortcut buttons in the existing programs.

The PDF creation application also enables file conversion with active hyperlinks and full bookmarks included in converted files.

The product is priced at $99.95.
