IMSI Refreshes IMSI PDF to Word
Novato, Calif.-based IMSI has released IMSI PDF to Word 2.0, its conversion solution for converting PDF files into MS Word and RTF documents.
IMSI PDF to Word 2.0 recovers all text, graphics and formatting of original PDF files without requiring Adobe Acrobat or MS Word installs. The conversion utility can also generate PDF files from MS Word documents.
The 2.0 release features recovery of vector and bit-map images, matches PDF fonts with MS Windows installed fonts, retains all original formatting, and gives users the ability to extract all images, bit maps, and vectors from a PDF file.
In addition, the solution converts vector graphics to embedded, editable vector objects, according to the company.

FinePrint Software Tweaks pdfFactory
FinePrint Software has released its updated PDF creation tool pdfFactory 2.45, with fixes to problems with imaging fonts and color graphics from PowerPoint.
pdfFactory 2.45 can combine documents into a single PDF, embed fonts and e-mail PDFs, and it provides optimized compression automatically.
The Windows-based solution costs $49.95 for a single-user license and can be purchased at the company's Web site.
IntraPDF Releases Advanced PDF to JPG Converter 1.8
IntraPDF has updated its PDF to JPG conversion solution, adding enhanced font rendering and HTML galleries creation capability.
The solution does not require Adobe Acrobat and supports password-protected PDF files, as well as offering batch conversion of PDF files.
In addition, the original document layout is fully preserved, and original formatting of both text and graphics is maintained in conversion.
