According to the company, the PDF Viewer, in conjunction with BFO's PDF Library, enables documents to be loaded and viewed in Java using a Swing component.

In addition, the release gives users document-to-bitmap conversion capabilities using the Java Image API or TIFF writer supplied with the extension.

The PDF Viewer can be purchased as an extension to BFO's PDF Library Extended and starts at $400.

BFO offers a fully functional free trial of the PDF Library for download.

QuadriSpace Unveils Document3D

Allen, Texas-based QuadriSpace Corp. has announced Document3D, its desktop publishing solution for creating interactive Adobe PDF files that include three-dimensional objects.

The solution gives users the ability to import 3D CAD files directly into documents and utilize the integrated tool set for page design and 3D editing processes.

The release is compatible with Adobe 7.0 or the free Adobe Reader 7.0.

Users can download a trial version of the release from the company's Web site.
