Altsoft N.V. on Thursday released its Xml2PDF 2.3 formatting engine.

Xml2PDF 2.3 is a .Net-based formatting engine that converts XML-based formats to PDF. This release adds conversion support for WordML and improved world and line stacking capabilities in all formats.

The company said free evaluation versions for Workstation, XmlSpy Plug-In and Hotfolder editions are available for download here.

Datawatch Corp. on Thursday announced the release of Monarch Data Pump 8.0, its server-based information delivery and data ETL solution.

Monarch Data Pump 8.0 imports, converts and delivers data captured from report files, databases, spreadsheets and HTML files. This release provides support for data import and export from and to PDF file formats as well.

Informative Graphics Corp. has announced Brava Enterprise 5.2 content visualization server, which now offers PDF markup capability and enhanced Visual Rights security control, said the company.

With this release the company also expanded its markup color palette. The release also allows for any open markups to be saved as JPG files, as well as featuring boosted font generation capability.
