PDF Library 2.4 enables users to digitally authenticate documents without invalidating the original signatures.Big Faceless Organization, a provider of Java reporting solutions, has added multiple digital-signature functionality to its PDF Library Version 2.4.
PDF Library 2.4 now enables users to edit, sign and time stamp documents, digitally authenticating them without invalidating the original signature.
"With this release, our library now allows programmers to create software that performs the signature steps programmatically, rather than having to use Acrobat. The incoming form can be checked for validity, marked with approval, digitally signed and filed, or sent to another company for the same process," said Daniel Wilson, spokesperson for the London-based Big Faceless Organization.
