Digital Media Wire announced the agenda and speakers for its upcoming
Digital Music Forum, scheduled for March 1 in New York.
The one-day event, which takes place at the French Institute, is being
presented in association with Billboard Magazine and features leading music and
technology executives from Sony Music, Atlantic Records, EMI Music, ASCAP,
Napster, Apple's iTunes, MusicNet and RIAA, among others. The Forum includes
five panels and three keynotes examining the future of digital music,
including:
* Is there a viable business model for
selling music online?
* What is the status of pending
lawsuits and legislation concerning digital copyrights?
* Can the music industry profit from
legitimate uses of P2P?
* How are consumers reacting to new
formats for music delivery?
* What does the future hold for

Q&A session with Steven Marks of the RIAA, keynotes by Sean Ryan of Real
Networks and Jonathan Potter of the Digital Media Association, and discussions
focused on selling music online, peer-to-peer technologies and new formats for
