Able2Doc 1.0 lets users apply portion specifications and control when converting PDF data to Word documents.Investintech.com has released Able2Doc Version 1.0, PDF conversion software that gives users the ability to view and select all or portions of PDF data and convert them to Microsoft Word documents.
"This is handy for people who only need a specific part of text," said David Moon, president of Toronto-based Investintech.com Inc. "Our utility enables users in a two-step process to incorporate only the text they need. It's a mouse-based selection process, and this makes it very easy for them to pick specific text out of a document for conversion."
Able2Doc gives users a choice of a complex or simple PDF-to-Word conversion. The complex option, according to the company, retains the background graphics and layout of the PDF document in Word.
The simple option allows users to focus on and specify selected text in the PDF document, and convert the text to appear as it would in a normally formatted Word document.
The simple option, said Moon, is a substantial timesaver as well as a more efficient method of converting a select amount of text as opposed to a whole document. It also reduces further editing time once the data is converted to Word.
Able2Doc is priced at $39.95; a 30-day subscription is available for $9.95. A fully functional free trial of the software is available for a three-day period before purchase.
