Acronnect Software Releases ImageEngine 2.0
Acronnect Software on Wednesday released ImageEngine 2.0.
The Adobe Acrobat image export plug-in enables users to get information about images within PDF documents, as well as extract and render images from PDF documents in prepress quality.
With this release, Acronnect's ImageEngine 2.0 gives users a workflow tool option, using the method of Watched Folders, with each folder assigned individual settings.

Equisys Unveils Zetadocs PDF
On Thursday, Equisys Inc. released Zetadocs PDF.
Zetadocs PDF gives users the capability to create and customize PDF files in the Windows environment and e-mail them instantly to single or multiple recipients.
The tool allows network users to share and send documents easily without requiring a separate installation or configuration.

AnyDoc Software Releases OCR for AnyDoc 4.0
AnyDoc Software Inc. on Tuesday announced the release of OCR for AnyDoc 4.0.
New features to the existing optical character recognition solution include support for TWAIN document scanner drivers, boosted document processing methods, and the additional capability to render and extract data from PDF files.

Quadralay Launches WebWorks ePublisher Pro
Quadralay Corp. on Monday launched WebWorks ePublisher Pro.
The newly released product utilizes XML technology to help content providers and documentation professionals easily produce content directly from MS Word or Adobe FrameMaker files for online content delivery and distribution.
WebWorks ePublisher Pro for Word ships next month. According to the company, pricing for authors runs $1,000.
