ByteScout Software has released PPT to PDF Scout 1.0, which converts PowerPoint presentations into text-searchable PDF documents.
PPT to PDF Scout 1.0 does not require Adobe Acrobat or other PDF software.
It features a full range of PDF-related security options, including user and master passwords, controls on printing, assembling, copying or modifying a converted PDF document.
Additionally, both 40-bit and 128-bit protection key length are supported.
PPT to PDF Scout 1.0 is available only for Windows users and is compatible with Acrobat 4.0 and higher.

IntraPDF Updates PDF to HTML Converter
IntraPDF has released Advanced PDF to HTML Converter 1.8, adding options for adjusting HTML output in both font size and margins.
Advanced PDF to HTML Converter 1.8 converts PDF files into HTML, with all graphics, hyperlinks, bookmarks and lines preserved.
In addition, version 1.8 includes an added option that merges images, creating one image file per page.
The company also enhanced the vector drawing processing, allowing users to now process not only horizontal and vertical lines, but all other lines and polygons as well.
Advanced PDF to HTML Converter 1.8 does not require Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader.

Recosoft Refreshes PDF2Office
Osaka, Japan-based Recosoft Corp. has updated its file format conversion solution boosting compatibility for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.
With PDF2Office v.2.1.1 the company also corrected Unicode conversion issues from the previous release and application of character styles in conversion.
Current users of PDF2Office v2.0/2.1 Professional for Mac OS X can download the update free of charge.
